[Printable] Ramadhan Bucket List
Bismillaah.
It's almost that time of the year again - Ramadhan!
The month that we've always been waiting for!
As a preparation of the incoming month of mercy and good deeds, I made a bucket list that I *personally* want to do - but sharing it won't hurt, doesn't it? :)
Maybe we share some common things in mind!
I know some of the activities are pretty much basic... but again, they are my personal plan, so I made a blank form for you to fill!
Whether it be baking for Iftar or Eid, feeding the poor, do I'tikaf at nearby masjid, make a visit to ustadz to study Islam, read the whole Qur'an and so on!

The paper size is in A5, so you can easily tuck it in your book/binder/organizer or stick it on your fridge or wall.
Go ahead - download and print them as many as you want!
I hope you enjoy!

Salat Duha (Duha Prayer) - 5 Benefits of Salat Duha
Bismillah.
I took this from this Facebook post.
This is the simplest examples of benefits of practicing salat Duha (or Duha prayer).
There's a similar post to this in Indonesian - check it out at your will :)
1. It fulfills sadaqah on every joint in your body.
"In the morning every single joint of yours must pay a sadaqah (charity). Every SubhanAllah is a sadaqah, every Alhamdulillah is a sadaqah, every La Ilaha Illa Allah is a sadaqah, every Allahu Akbar is a sadaqah, every commanding good is a sadaqah, and every forbidding evil is a sadaqah, and all this is accomplished through two rak`ats one can pray in Duha." [Muslim]
Note: This means that the two rak'ahs is sufficient as a charity on behalf of every joint in the body.

2. It is the prayer of the righteous.
"None is assiduous in keeping Salat al-Duha except one who is oft-repentent (awwab), and it is the prayer of the oft-repentent (wa hiya Salat al-Awwabin)." [Ibn Khuzaymah, sahih according to the conditions of Imam Muslim]

3. It was an advice from the Messenger himself to his companions.
Abu Hurayrah: "My beloved (the Messenger) instructed me never to leave three things until I die: fasting three days of the month, praying Salat al-Witr before sleep, and praying the 2 rak`ats of Salat al-Duha." [Musnad Ahmad]

4. If performed after remembering Allah from the time of Fajr prayer, it's equivalent to the complete reward of Hajj & Umrah.
"Whoever prays the Fajr prayer then sits in his place of prayer remembering Allah until sunrise, then prays two rak`ats of Duha, shall be rewarded as if he had performed Hajj and Umrah, with a reward that is complete, complete, complete." [Tirmidhi, hasan]
(Note: This doesn't nullify the requirement to perform Hajj).

(Note: This doesn't nullify the requirement to perform Hajj).
5. Making it a habit leads to forgiveness of one's sins.
"Whoever regularly prays the two rak`ats of Duha, his sins are forgiven even if they are as numerous as the foam of the sea." [Tirmidhi, Ahmad, Ibn Majah]
"Whoever regularly prays the two rak`ats of Duha, his sins are forgiven even if they are as numerous as the foam of the sea." [Tirmidhi, Ahmad, Ibn Majah]
It's a simple 2 rak'ahs that's prayed any time after the sun rises until just before Duhr prayer. Make it a lifelong habit and encourage your family and friends to do so as well.
In conclusion, salat Duha is very beneficial and we shouldn't miss the opportunity to do it - regularly, if possible.
Salat Duha is also a very good way to break from worldly activity or as a way to start your day, and to make sure you have intense connection with Allah and remember Him no matter how busy you are.
I really encourage everyone of you to do salat Duha when possible, and Insyaa Allah you'll do it regularly in no time!
